Serve Samman believes in perfect health and wellness for all. Hence, we at Serve Samman conduct several awareness workshops on various health related issues in the interiors of the country. Apart from generating awareness we also conduct free eye check-ups, facilitate free cataract surgeries( in collaboration with Icare), and distribute free medication and spectacles to the needy population. In the last 6 months Serve Samman has conducted over 130 camps, in 120 villages catering to 1080 people. They have also facilitated over 50 cataract surgeries in the last 6 months. |

All our vocational centres conduct courses specially designed keeping in mind the aspects of duration, need and outcome. All the courses are certified by authorities which are pioneers in the respective fields such as Microsoft certification for Computer Courses, USHA for courses in Sewing. Some of the courses at our vocational centre include: Computer Literacy, Sewing training, Make-up and hair styling, Computer, electronics and mobile repair etc. Currently we are supporting around 900 students in all our centres (since the past 6 months). |

Our schools provide complete education to primary school students and offer educational support to those studying in junior and middle schools. Serve Samman also provides scholarships to the exceptionally deserving candidates for higher studies. Serve Samman firmly believes in English Literacy and hence provides training in basic conversational English to individuals of all age-groups. Currently we have 60 students from the age of 4 years to 6 years studying at our NGOs primary school. |

Serve Samman is actively involved in providing relief assistance in the disaster hit areas. We help disaster victims by providing safe shelter, hot meals, essential relief supplies, emotional support and health services like first aid. This year post the Jammu and Kashmir floods, we send 12 truckloads of material to Srinagar. We also held a medical camp wherein Doctors from our NGO went personally to check the victims for various possible diseases. |

EXTRA CURICULAR ACTIVITIES AT OUR CENTRE

Apart from the regular academics, we also aim to holistically develop the children through teaching them various extra- curricular activities, such as art and craft, guitar, dance, reading etc. Our students are also gearing up for a FLASH MOB at Rahagiri on 12th April, 2015 |
